Kizomba/Semba Group Choreography Competition (directly from Angola)

Welcome to the FIRST-EVER online kizomba/semba group choreography competition in Angola with participants from some of the best dance schools in Luanda.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, we continue to work on our skills and we want to use our talents to keep entertaining the world during these hard times. So, we (#Tukina) are putting together this unprecedented event with two major goals in mind:

1️⃣ To provide a quality service/product to help generate some funds in an honorable manner and thus support our families with their basic needs;

2️⃣ To support a local charity cause that is close to our hearts. So, as part of this event, you can make a voluntary donation to CACAJ, which a non-profit organization that has a center to provide shelter and care to homeless children here in Angola.

CACAJ is always in need of all kinds of support so they can fulfill their primary mission.

Their scope of social services include (but are not limited to) the following:

❣️ Locate the families of homeless children and reunite them accordingly.
❣️ Help children get documented so that they can be (re)integrated in society.
❣️ Leverage community engagement with foster families, churches, corporations, NGOs, etc.
❣️ Promote the insertion of youths into the job market by helping them acquire essential labor skills and apprenticeship.

The event will be streamed live from the private group "Tukina TV" to which you will be given access upon registration. To secure your spot, you only need two quick steps:

✅ Send your payment ($12 here or €10 on PayPal).
✅ Send an email with your proof of payment to [email protected] and indicate your name/ID on FB.

On both PayPal and TicketLeap, you can specify - or separate, if you prefer - the exact amount that you are donating to the charity, i.e. on top of your ticket payment. A week after the competition, we will announce publicly on Facebook the total amount gathered in donations and we will convert the funds into essential goods that the CACAJ children center needs the most.
